Jack Shaw was a political consultant who was one of the 44 individuals arrested last Thursday in connection with a corruption investigation. He was accused of taking tens of thousands of dollars from a government informant on behalf of himself and an unknown Jersey City official. He was 61-years-old. (more)

So Jon Corzine is calling on all the politicians indicted last week to resign. Corzine's gubernatorial opponent Chris Christie said the same thing earlier in the week. The difference is, these are Corzine's pals, people he has lauded for their "exemplary" public service. WASHINGTON (AP) -- President Barack Obama is leaving the door open to taxing health care benefits, something he campaigned hard against while running for president, according to senators who met with him Tuesday.
