As the Obama administration presses Israel to cease settlement expansion as part of a renewed push for a Middle East peace deal—a course of action that many Israelis have interpreted as evidence of the president’s favoritism towards Palestinians—Israelis have increasingly focused their disappointment not on Obama, but rather on his chief of staff, Rahm Emanuel. WASHINGTON - Freezing the expansion of Jewish settlements in the West Bank was once seen as a unilateral Israeli obligation. But the Obama administration is now treating this as part of a package that will require concessions from Arab states as well. An intensified and more public focus on this idea appears to be one of the byproducts of U.S. President Barack Obama's July 13 pledge to American Jewish communal representatives to address perceptions that he is pressuring only Israel. Do remember Joe Biden went to Israel and personally vouched for Barack Obama’s commitment to the Jewish state. Obama personally followed him and 72% of the Jews believed them and voted for Obama. Since then Obama visited the Middle East twice carefully avoiding Israel (more)

Gateway Pundit: Joe Biden Warns Israel Not to Attack Iran

Are we looking at the death of Israel? This is very disturbing news... In a CNN interview, Joe Biden warned Israel not to attack Iran. V-P Biden must be under the delusion that the US is making headway with the terrible Iranian regime-- the same regime that is responsible for the death of 170 or more US troops in Iraq. Team Obama warned Israel to take the military option off the table. The LA Times reported: Vice President Joe Biden issued a high-level admonishment to Israel's new governmen... (more)
